Authorities say one person died and six others were hurt during a weekend crash near the central Illinois community of Minonk.
The Marshall County Coroner says Saturday night's crash killed 83-year-old LaSalle resident Nancy Hylla after her car drove through the median and into oncoming traffic, hitting two cars. Occupants of a fourth car were injured when they swerved to avoid the crash.
Investigators say they're still trying piece together what happened before the crash, but say one victim is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Minonk is about 30 miles northeast of Peoria.
