Dixon man dies in Lee County crash

A Dixon, Illinois man was killed when his vehicle collided with another vehicle at a Lee County intersection, police say. James Dudley, Jr., age 45, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lee County Coroner, the statement said. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the intersection of Illinois Route 52 and Rockyford Road, according to a statement from the Lee County Sheriff'€™s Office. Several departments responded to the scene, including Amboy Fire and Rescue, Sublette Fire and Rescue, Dixon Rural Fire Department, Illinois State Police, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Amboy Police Department.  They have yet to determine what caused this crash.
