Sterling Woman Dies in Car Crash

OGLE COUNTY (WIFR) '€“ A Sterling woman has died after losing control in a two-vehicle crash. It happened before 5:00 Sunday night in the 13000 block of west Illinois Route 26-52, just north of Polo. Investigators say 23-year-old Alisha Torrenez crossed the center line and hit an eastbound vehicle. Torrenez was pronounced dead at the scene. The two people in the other car were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
