A Dowagiac woman had to be extricated from her vehicle Wednesday evening in Cass County after she was involved in a traffic crash, deputies said.
Elizabeth Slabaugh, 84, and her 14-year-old granddaughter were travelling northbound on M-51 at Pennsylvania Road when a car driven by Sally Lundy, 64, and her 3-year-old grandaughter pulled out in front of her, resulting in a head-on collision. Slabaugh had to be extrivated from her vehicle. She was sent to South Bend Memorial Hospital. All other parties were treated and released at the site of the accident.
