Woman charged with DWI, hit-and-run after striking bicyclist

Stark was booked into the New Hanover County jail but released after posting $10,000, according to the jail.
A young woman is charged with DWI and felony hit-and-run after allegedly hitting a bicyclist Sunday night near Randall Parkway and South College Road. Sarah Stark, 21, was also charged with failure to reduce speed, driving left-of-center and careless and reckless driving. The man was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. A short time later police stopped Stark's car on South Kerr Avenue. The vehicle had front-end damage.
