At least one person was killed in a crash in Joelton Tuesday afternoon. Police said the crash happened at Whites Creek Pike and Coopertown Road. Whites Creek Pike is shut down at the Davidson-Robertson County line. Channel 4 has a crew on the way to the scene and will have more details as they become available. It is unclear if there were any other injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, 53-year-old Gary K. Mullins, said he drove into the southbound lanes to avoid a car that was turning in front of him. Armstrong, 62, died at the scene near Coopertown Road.
