29-year-old man killed, after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup at a high rate of speed at an intersection in Houston.

Police say speed was a factor in a crash that killed a motorcyclist Wednesday night in North Houston.

According to investigators, the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. at E. Little York Road and O'Donnell Street.

Witnesses saw a motorcyclist traveling extremely fast-- possibly over 100 mph on E. Little York.

At the same time, a white pickup truck was traveling westbound and started to turn left onto O'Donnell.

The truck had a father and his teenage son inside.

The motorcycle slammed into the side of the pickup truck. With such force, the impact caused the truck to spin around 360 degrees.

Police said the motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.

No one was hurt in the pickup.

The driver of the pickup said he did not see the motorcycle coming toward them.

The victim's name was not immediately released.
