19-year-old man, 82-year-old man killed, after a minivan and pickup collide on the Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston.

Police are investigating a deadly crash in southeast Houston.

It happened around 1:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Edgebrook.

Houston police say an 82-year-old man was driving a minivan northbound on the Gulf Freeway when authorities say he had a possible medical episode. The man lost control of the van and crossed over into oncoming traffic.

Officials say the van hit a pickup truck driven by a 19-year-old man.

Both victims died at the scene.

Passengers in other vehicles were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The names of the victims were not immediately released by police.
