Investigation into Fatal Traffic Accident at 8300 South Loop East
Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8300 South Loop East (South Interstate Highway 610 East) about 4 p.m. on last Thursday (April 9).

At about 4:00 p.m., the 62-year-old victim was driving a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck northbound on the South Loop East when he suffered an apparent medical episode. His vehicle left the roadway and drove into brush and trees on the side of the road. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where, on Friday (April 10), he was pronounced dead.
