Motorcyclist killed after hitting disabled car in NW Houston

The driver of the Camaro was uninjured but a passenger in the car was taken to the hospital after incurring a seizure, which Houston police said was unrelated to the accident.

It was about 1:35 a.m. when the driver of a gray Chevrolet Camaro was traveling inbound on the Northwest Freeway, lost control of the vehicle, and struck the guard wall. The vehicle became disabled and the driver was able to steer it to the far right lane, where it stopped and did not move any further.  The driver stated he put his emergency flashers on and waited for emergency assistance.  The 31-year-old victim, operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle, was also driving inbound and struck the back of the Camaro.  The motorcyclist died at the scene.  Following the crash, the passenger of the Camaro had a seizure and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition, but that was unrelated to the collision.
