2 injured in violent crash between pickup and tow truck on Highway 6 at Huffmeister in Houston, Texas

It happened at around 4:20am on Highway 6 at Huffmeister and involved a tow truck and pickup. At this point, it's not clear what led to the accident. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital by Life Flight, the tow truck driver by ground.
