Wrong-way driver in critical condition after struck and pushed off an elevated highway by a semi truck at the US 290 and Interstate 610 connecting ramp in Houston, Texas

According to ABC 13 News, the wrong way motorist was likely leaving the downtown area when she entered the freeway going the wrong direction. Once she reached the connecting ramp, the motorist stopped in a moving lane of traffic, and that’s when her car was struck by a semi truck unable to avoid a collision with the stopped car.
