Diabetic episode ends with truck crashing into home on North Side

A motorist in the middle of a diabetic episode drove his truck into a home Friday afternoon just north of downtown, police said. A white pickup truck crashed into a home after it veered off U.S. 281 at about 3:30 p.m. in the 400 block of East French Place, police said. The driver was taken to a local hospital investigators said. Four people were in the truck including two men, one boy and an infant police said, adding no one was home at the time of the crash.
