Woman arrested after hit-and-run 'internally decapitates' San Antonio man
Savannah Mercedes Lopez is accused of hitting and killing a 62-year-old man known to frequent the area who was walking in the 6200 block of Glen Meadows Drive, located on San Antonio's Northeast Side, on Monday, June 26 just after 9 p.m. The man's body was discovered by police the morning after the incident and further investigation revealed he suffered severe trauma, including decapitation, and injuries consistent with being hit by a pickup truck, Salazar said.
