Platteville man killed in crash involving semi

The Wisconsin State Patrol, Platteville Fire Department, Platteville EMS and UW Platteville police assisted at the scene. The Grant County Sheriff'€™s Office said deputies were called to Highway 80/81 at the Highway 151 overpass at 3:05 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle crash. After being extricated from his car, Reichers was taken to Southwest Health Center and then flown to UW Hospital in Madison. A Platteville man died after his car was struck by a semi-tractor Thursday afternoon. He died a few hours later at UW Hospital.
