A driver crashed into a mother and her 7-year-old daughter, Ning Et, who were in a crosswalk around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Pineland Drive. The mother was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition. Ning Et did not survive the collision. The driver did remain at the scene, but their name has not yet been released.
