Tuesday, April 7, 2015An Anderson County deputy spotted a stolen vehicle on Highway 28 at around 1:45 p.m. and began to pursue it. The driver of the stolen vehicle was able to successfully force the deputy off the road during the pursuit, causing the deputy to crash into an embankment. The suspect continued from there until crashing into a home on Boston Drive. The incident is still under investigation. Both the officer and the suspect were taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

Friday, December 12, 2014Details are limited, but it has been reported that a vehicle that was at one point being pursued by a a deputy left the roadway and struck a tree, killing three people that were inside. The police lost sight of the vehicle just before the crash. We will update this accident as more information is released.
