Larhonda Cambrielle Brown was driving on U.S. 231 when her vehicle collided head-on with a tractor-trailer. She and her two children were taken to an area medical center with they all died of their injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. The accident is still under investigation.

A Denham Springs family driving home from a New Year’s Eve church event were in a head-on collision that left three people dead and two others hospitalized. At about 8:15 p.m., a Mazda sedan driven by Trinity Kiger, 24, of Satsuma, crossed the center line of Walker Road North and smashed head-on into a SUV driven by Ronald Chisholm, 38. Kiger was killed, and Chisholm and his daughter Haley, 14, suffered moderate injuries. His wife, Shannon Chisholm, 37, died shortly after the collision, as did their daughter, Hannah Chisholm, 11, who was seated in the center back seat.

Ghislain B. Cloutier, 49, and his son, Casey Cloutier, 14, killed and Ralph Ryder Jr., 59, injured in head-on car crash on Route 202

Police have identified the victims of a Tuesday morning fatal car collision as Ghislain B. Cloutier, 49, and his son, Casey, 14, of Winthrop. The Cloutier's silver 2007 Honda Accord, traveling on Route 202 near Leeds Junction Road around 8:11 a.m. was involved in a crash with a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Ralph Ryder Jr., 59, of Livermore. Both Cloutiers died at the crash site. Ryder was transported to Central Maine Medical Center and is listed in stable condition. The accident is under investigation.  

Beaudoin Oredore, 86, Nannie Sue Couch, 74, and Margaret J. Roe, 72, killed and Kenneth Roe, 74, injured in head-on car crash on U.S. 301 in Dade City, Florida

Three people died Tuesday in a head-on collision in Dade City, Florida before noon on U.S. 301. Beaudoin Oredore, 86, of East Windsor, Connecticut, was driving a 2014 Buick Enclave south on U.S. 301, while Walter Kenneth Roe, 74, of Brooksville, was driving northbound. Oredore lost control of his vehicle and drove across the grass median and into the northbound lanes, crashing into Roe's Ford Explorer. Oredore and his passenger, Nannie Sue Couch, 74, of Flint, Michigan, were pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Two women died and a man was injured in a collision in Greene County on Monday evening. Sherry Lynn Espinoza, 23, of Waynesburg, was driving on Route 21 near Havers Hill Road in Jefferson just before 11 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a guardrail and swerved across the road, crashing head on with a vehicle driven by Amanda Lynn Whipkey, 19, of Waynesburg. Both women were pronounced deceased at the crash site. The crash remains under investigation.

Mark Eric Anderson, 25, dead and one other critically injured after head-on crash that followed dangerous driving to evade police on Chester Pike in Glenolden, PA

At about 4:00pm Anderson was caught speeding by a police officer on Chester Pike, who then chose to make a U-turn and followed Anderson down a few other streets in an attempt to pull him over. Then, Anderson apparently re-entered Chester Pike at a high speed, but lost control and collided with another vehicle head-on. A passenger in that vehicle was hospitalized in critical condition, while Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Lake County woman died Saturday in a head-on collision on Highway 101 near Cloverdale, California. Wanda Shields, 67, of Nice, died in the collision that happened just before 9 a.m. north of Geysers Road. Shields was a passenger in 1998 Buick driven by Donald Shields, 74. They were driving south when they were hit by a 2004 Honda driven by Xaun Zau, 30, of Kirkland, Washington State, who had been driving north and swerved to avoid an object in the road, lost control of the car, entered into the southbound lanes, and crashed into the Shields’ car.

Melissa Meade, 38, and Christopher Shawn "Cheerios" Truesdell, 41, killed and two children injured after fiery car accident on Interstate 75 in Madison County

Authorities say a second person has died from her injuries after a fiery collision on Interstate 75 in Madison County. Melissa Meade, 38, of Warren County, Ohio, died at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Christopher Shawn "Cheerios" Truesdell, 41, died from severe burns on Saturday at the hospital. The collision occurred Saturday on I-75 in Madison County when a car crossed a median and crashed into a van, which then caught fire. The cause of the crash is not yet known.

Four people died and two others sustained major injuries in a head-on crash Friday near the intersection of San Juan and Palm Avenues around 1:30 a.m. Firefighters found three people dead inside a burning Buick LeSabre car and a fourth person deceased on the road. A fifth person from the Buick, identified as Michella Figueroa, was transported to the hospital with major injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a Subaru, was also transported to the hospital with major injuries.

Bradley D. Schroth, 31, and Eric D. Williams, 35, killed County Road 48 north of Brooksville in Citrus County, Florida

At about 2:30 p.m. Friday east of Steed Terrace on County Road 48, Bradley D. Schroth lost control of his pickup truck and veered into the path of an oncoming Lexus sedan driven by Eric D. Williams. Williams swerved to avoid the collision but was still struck offset head-on on the left side of the Lexas, according to authorities. Neither man was wearing a seat belt, and both men died at the scene.
