It was about 7:30 p.m., and Valencia's car was struck by an SUV driven by Charles Michael Nossick, 56, where it was pushed into and crushed against a traffic pole. Valencia was declared dead at the scene of the crash, while Nossick was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

An Annapolis woman was killed and two other drivers were hospitalized in a four-vehicle crash in Arnold on Thursday morning, according to Anne Arundel police.

Patricia Ann Krzeminski, 77, was driving her 2002 Chrysler Sebring eastbound on College Parkway near Shore Acres Road, when she drifted across the center line, possibly due to a medical condition, police said.

Krzeminski struck a 1994 Chevrolet Prism, which spun around clockwise. Krzeminski's Sebring then continued eastbound in the wrong lane and struck a 2001 Honda Odyssey taxi.
