Denver, COJust after midnight at the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Quebec Street two cars collided head-on. The driver who caused the crash, 22-year-old Jeremy Brown, fled the scene on foot, but was later caught by authorities and taken to jail. At least one person was killed in the accident. The area around where the accident occured was closed as authorities investigated.

Denver, COTwo cars were traveling westbound on East Colfax Avenue near Macon Street in the left lane when a man suspected of drunk driving was traveling eastbound on the wrong side of the road. Investigators said excessive speed was suspected as a factor in the crash.
