Lexington, KYMadison County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating after a train-car collision in Berea. The collision occured near Menelaus Road and Chapel Road. The Berea Fire Department stated that a car was on the tracks and two people were inside the car. One woman who was in the car got out. Deputies are still looking for the second person. No injuries have been reported.

Lexington, KYThe victim was identified as Heather Holwerda, 38, of Berea. State Police say she was standing in the northbound lane near her home when she was struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
