The motorcyclist who died in a motorcycle collision Saturday afternoon on Interstate 15 was identified as Johnny James Kelly, 29, of North Las Vegas. kelly died when his motorcycle collided with a highway barrier on I-15 near the Cheyenne Avenue exit. Kelly lost control of his vehicle after a second motorcyclist struck his bike. Investigators believe that both motorcyclists were traveling at high speed before the collision.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, a 29-year-old man was driving a white, 4-door BMW at a high speed on I-15 as he exited at Silverado and struck a traffic signal pole. The man, identified as Justin Michael Delos Santos, was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at around 2 a.m. He wearing his seatbelt.
