Vernon Cooper, 67, killed in crash between semitruck and train at Higsby Road near Chillicothe, Ohio

Columbus, OHA Springfield truck driver died Wednesday evening in a collision between a train and semitruck south of Chillicothe near Higsby Road in Ross County. The truck driver has been identified as Vernon Cooper, 67, of Springfield. He was an employee of Lawn Master. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
