According to spokesperson Adam Griffith, the Allen County sheriff’s department received a call at 3:17 a.m. about a reckless driver in a white SUV traveling north in a southbound lane of I-69. A few minutes later, another call reported that the same SUV struck a semi-trailer head-on between mile markers 299 and 300, and the SUV driver was killed in the crash. The semi driver was brought to a hospital and is in fair condition.
