DeLand resident Kevin Gillislee was driving with a suspended license when he struck and killed Scott Gentile killed earlier this week. Scott Gentile was driving an electric scooter at the intersection of Amelia and Walts avenues at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, when the accident happened. Gillislee was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license causing death. He is out on $1,000 bail. Gillislee was northbound on South Amelia Avenue when he collided with Gentile at the intersection of Walts Avenue. The right front of the car struck Gentile, who died at the crash site.
