Thursday, February 26, 2015Emilie Busman, 20, was driving a car in which Cearlock was a passenger shortly after 8:00am, and was approaching 20th Avenue from a side street. While Busman properly stopped at the stop sign, she did not yield to northbound vehicle on 20th, driven by Angela Korynta, 35, and was struck. Investigators believe that a snow bank at the intersection may have prevented Busman from properly seeing the cross-traffic. Only Cearlock was injured in the crash, and she was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
