A six-car collision on southbound I-5 near Federal Way led to firefighters needing to extricate a person from their vehicle after a 5 p.m. crash at Enchanted Parkway South. Washington State Patrol says that most injuries appear to be minor.

The 43-year-old driver of a pickup truck was in custody Sunday night for investigation of vehicular assault after the vehicle went through a guardrail, rolled off Interstate 5 in Federal Way and trapped the driver and a passenger inside, according to the Washington State Patrol. The crash happened at I-5 and South 288th Street at approx. 7:00 p.m. The driver was also being investigated for DUI. The passenger was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
