Eddie Griffin III died Friday night after he was involved in an accident. He was riding as a passenger with a 27-year-old man when the vehicle lost control and crashed on I-94 West. Witnesses to the accident stated that they saw the car pass at a high speed at 11:20 PM. The car subsequently lost control and rolled over several times. The vehicle finally came to a rest on the highway near Shook Road. Griffin was found dead by police. The driver of the car was sent to McLaren hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
