One person is dead following a crash between an SUV and a horse. The accident occured around 8:00 p.m. Sunday October 19, 2014 when the driver of the SUV collided with a horse and its rider traveling on West Little York Road in Houston, Texas in the Acres Home area. The collision sent the SUV into a telephone pole and a chain-link fence. The driver died upon arrival at the hospital. The rider of the horse was taken to the hospital to treat injuries not considered life-threatening. The condition of the horse is uncomfirmed.
