Huntsville-Decatur, AL44-year-old Jeffery Wayne Robinson was allegedly speeding south on Jordan Lane at approximately 4:30 a.m. when he veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole at the intersection with Oakwood Avenue. Both Robinson and his 24-year-old female passenger, identified as Amberely Nichole Maclin, sustained injuries described as life-threatening, and were transported to the hospital where they are listed in serious to critical condition.

Huntsville-Decatur, ALOne person was driving a truck on Old Blue Spring Road when they failed to negotiate a curve, and instead jumped over it, and then a ditch. The truck hit a parked car and knocked over a satellite dish, then came to a stop. The driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life threatening. Police are still investigating the accident.
