Three people were injured in a one-car accident overnight Saturday on the city's east side.
It happened around 1:15 a.m. near 38th Street and Emerson Avenue.
IMPD officials say a car with four occupants was driving west on 38th Street and for an unknown reason, lost control, struck a traffic light utility box and flipped onto a nearby gas station lot.

Police say around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, one vehicle crossed the center line and hit another one near Southport and Bluff roads. Then a third vehicle crashed into the other two.
Emergency crews had to cut the roof off a car to get someone out.
Police did not say how many people were hurt, but did report serious injuries.
The accident happened near a railroad crossing. The track was inspected and officials say it was not damaged during the crash.
