At around noon, a Lexus went from St. Johns into oncoming traffic on Blanding and struck a Dodge. The Dodge glanced off of the Lexus, went through oncoming lanes, and finally burst into flames just outside of a nearby building. Witness William Lippus and others that were in the building helped the passengers out of the burning vehicle. Not much detail on the severity of the injuries was available, but most injuries were likely serious as the passengers of the Lexus were carried away on stretchers, and a passenger in the Dodge claimed to not be able to feel her legs.
