Las Vegas, NV40-year-old Jeanne Anguiano was allegedly drunk and driving a stolen vehicle when she was headed south in the northbound lanes of Eastern Avenue at around 3:40 a.m. An officer that was directing traffic was attempting to pull her over, but not before she crashed into a truck and the three construction workers who were near it. Two of the workers and Anguiano herself were seriously injured and brought to the hospital, while one worker was struck but did not require hospitalization. Las Vegas, NVRussell R. Slouffman was driving in a construction zone near the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign around 3 a.m. Friday on Las Vegas Boulevard South when he crashed into a flatbed truck. The truck, driven by 35-year-old Francisco Barron, was equipped with a rear-flashing directional warning sign that had flashing right arrows to divert traffic around a welding crew while they were working. Barron sustained only minor injuries.

Las Vegas, NVA construction worker killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning has been identified as 57-year-old Robert Lee Lujan by the Clark County Coroner's office.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. near Valley View Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.
Police say the worker was cutting asphalt in a bus lane on Sahara Avenue, when a Ford F-150 struck the worker, then hit a parked car.
Lujan died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Ford, 45-year-old Rafael Mendez-Soto, walked away from the scene, but police later located him hiding in a dumpster at a nearby apartment complex.
