The woman who died after her car crashed into a chain-link fence Monday night died of natural causes, according to the Clark County coroner’s office. Aleta M. Doran, 68, was driving slowly in a parking lot at 2875 Nellis Boulevard when she had a medical episode and ran her car into a fence just after 9:30 p.m. Doran was transported to Desert Springs Hospital and pronounced dead. The coroner’s office said the Las Vegas resident died from athroscleroic cardiovascular disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

A toddler was in critical condition and three other children suffered injuries after a collision Sunday night near Cheyenne Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.

About 8 p.m., a 1997 Dodge Neon, driven by a 63-year-old man, ran a red light on Cheyenne at Lamb, Las Vegas police said. It struck a 1998 Ford Expedition carrying a 37-year-old woman and the four children.

A man who crashed his motorcycle on state Route 160 last month died from his injuries Wednesday.

Robert Neal Parsons, 62, was traveling north on Route 160 Feb. 20 near the intersection with state Route 159 when his motorcycle went off the road into the desert, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Parsons was thrown from his motorcycle and airlifted to University Medical Center, the patrol said.

A man died Sunday morning while trying to assist a car accident on Needles Highway near Laughlin, Las Vegas police said Monday.

A single-car rollover that injured the two car occupants happened just before 6 a.m. Pedestrian Charles Eugene Muller tried to cross the highway to help, but was struck by a Honda Element as he crossed the road, police said.

Muller, 72 and a Laughlin resident, was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

One man died and one person was taken to a hospital following an overnight crash in the intersection of North Durango Drive and West Washburn Road Sunday.

Las Vegas police said a 2003 Toyota Tacoma ran a stop sign on Washburn and crashed into a 1995 Chrysler New Yorker about 2:30 a.m.

The Toyota hit the Chrysler on the left side, pushing it into the southwest corner of the intersection.

The Toyota flipped over and ejected the driver, who died on the scene. The truck’s passenger was sent to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

A single-vehicle car crash left two women dead and a man in serious condition Saturday morning.

Police responded to Ogden Avenue and City Parkway, which is near the spaghetti bowl, just before 1 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a crashed 2005 Hyundai Sonata. Briana Medina, a 21-year-old passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and second passenger Joann Ajejandra Zermeno were taken to University Medical Center, where 20-year-old Zermeno was pronounced dead.

Driver Bronik Sardaryan remained in serious condition.

One person is dead after a car crash near Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard early Friday morning.

The intersection of Spring Mountain and Decatur was closed for several hours after the 4 a.m. crash. Decatur opened to traffic at 9 a.m. Spring Mountain is still closed from Decatur to Lindell Road.

According to Metro Police, it appears the driver, later identified as Quinton Alton, 35, was traveling at a high rate of speed headed westbound on Spring Mountain, lost control, and slammed into the side of a building.

One woman later identified as Cho Cha McGuffin, 75, is dead after a two-car crash at Alta Drive and Hualapai Way, according to Metro Police.

The crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a Dodge Durango and a sedan crashed into each other, police said. The driver of the Durango, later identified as Hilaria Torrez, 50, was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

A male driver, later identified as Glen McGuffin, 77, was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

A man from the United Kingdom was hit by a pickup truck and critically hurt Tuesday morning in a crash that happened just off the Las Vegas Strip.

According to police, 54-year-old Martin Forster was heading north across Flamingo Road at Linq Lane when a pickup truck that was turning left onto eastbound Flamingo Road hit him.

The pickup truck driver, identified by police as 44-year-old Paul Rosquist, told police he did not see Forester. Rosquist had a green light to turn and Forester was in a crosswalk, police said.

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in a Tuesday morning collision is at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with critical injuries.

Las Vegas police were called to the scene of the accident near Flamingo Road and Linq Lane about 9:15 a.m., said a Las Vegas police officer. The driver of the vehicle was not transported for medical treatment.

Flamingo is closed in both directions between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane while police investigate the accident.
