A man is facing charges after running from the scene of an accident and then knocking on doors in a neighborhood of Madison, Connecticut. The accident occured on Interstate 95 North in the town of Madison. Richard Robert Pommer, 48, was later found in a residential neighborhood. Police found him at about 8:45 PM after receiving calls stating that he was knocking on doors asking to use a telephone. Pommer is a convicted felon and had drugs and weapons on him when police arrested him. Police state they found 54 folds of herion marked "FOXY," a Glock Model 26 9 mm pistol and 55 9 mm bullets.
