According to the Colorado State Patrol, on Wedesnday night near Mead, 29-year-old Nacole Grim of Frederick was southbound on I-25 in a 2004 GMC SUV when she veered across the median into the northbound lanes, rolling over and striking four other vehicles. Grim was brought to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland serious injuries. Two women, 34-year-old Dang Mantkhong of Parker and 39-year-old Andrea Weiss of Fort Collins, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Three other people were injured We'll update this story with any new detailes we receive.

Matthew Smith, 36, of Brighton, Colorado was killed in an industrial accident at the Anardarko Petroleum Corp. fracking site in Weld County at Highway 66 and Weld County Road 9½. Thomas Sedlmayr, of Castle Rock, and Grant Casey, of Commerce City, were injured. All three were employed by Halliburton Co. The death and injuries were apparently caused by a high-pressure water valve that either ruptured or exploded, according to a company spokesperson.
