Friday, October 24, 2014According to authorities, a blue Volkswagen Golf was driving hastily west on U.S. 192 near Melbourne Square mall, swerving through traffic, when it spun in an intersection and struck a concrete pole near McClain Drive. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was pronounced dead later at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Friday, February 28, 2014Florida Highway Patrol says a body found in Brevard County is related a fatal crash from over the weekend.
Troopers said Art Stroud, 60, was found dead at State Road A1A and Pine Tree Drive Monday morning in the same location that a fatal crash occurred on Saturday.
FHP said they believe Stroud was walking along the east shoulder of SR A1A when he was struck by one of the vehicles involved in the crash on Saturday. Stroud was found on the east shoulder of SR A1A in the thick brush at around 9 a.m. on Monday.
