Memphis, TNThree people were involved in a collision on I-40 near Sycamore View around 10 p.m. Saturday. One man, 31, was riding a motorcycle while the other victim, 21, was standing outside of his vehicle on the highway. A 23-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the motorcycle, Jimmy C. Mackey, 31, and Sergio Gomez, 21, were pronounced deceased at the crash site. The 23 year old female passenger on the motorcycle is listed in critical condition at Regional One Hospital.

Memphis, TNA police officer was involved in a five-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 Westbound, just before Danny Thomas. Police say that no one involved was seriously injured.
This multi-car accident was reported around 9:45 a.m. on Monday.
Traffic is backed up in that area as the interstate is down to just one lane.
