Friday, December 12, 2014A Mena woman died Friday morning when her car crashed with a tractor-trailer. Carolyn Standridge, 66, was driving a 2000 Lincoln on U.S. 71 near Mena. John Draper, 46, of Shreveport, La., was driving a tractor-trailer north on 71. At about 6:20 a.m., Standridge’s car crossed the center line into the northbound lane and collided with the tractor-trailer. Standridge was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:06 a.m., while Draper was not injured.
