A school bus and an SUV collided at around 7:30 a.m. near old Middletown Road and Colebrook Lane in Middletown, Frederick County, Maryland. According to police, the driver of the SUV, 17-year-old Middletown High School student Claire Knight, was killed. The bus driver was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital. The bus was only carrying one student at the time of the accident. The student was reportedly not injured, but was later taken to a hospital for an evaluation.
