Sunday, November 2, 2014The Seward County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a Lincoln woman killed in a car accident near Milford Sunday morning. A 1994 Mazda pickup driven by Kimberly Hawthorne, 45 of Lincoln, crossed the center line on U.S. 6, and crashed head-on with a minivan driven by Antoinette Hruby, 30 of Pleasant Dale. Hawthorne was pronounced dead at the scene. A medical helicopter flew Hruby to Bryan West Campus, where she was listed in critical condition Monday night.

Thursday, March 13, 2014Milford and Pleasant Dale communities are stunned after a rollover crash nearby kills a minor and injures two others.
The Seward County Sheriff's Office say 14-year-old Trevyn Michael Roth of Milford died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle.
Officials say the rollover happened at 7 PM Thursday near 175th and Denton Road.
The other two victims are also minors.
One had to be flown to Bryan West.
The other was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
Officials are unsure whether or not the teens were wearing their seatbelts. The investigation continues.
