Thursday, June 25, 2015A truck was stopped at the intersection of 3rd Street and Arkansas Highway 367 in Newport when a car driven by David S. Levant failed to negotiate the stop and rear-ended the truck just after 10 a.m. Levant was pronounced dead and there were no other injuries reported.
