A 13-year-old boy in a van was spotted travelling at a high rate of speed with no headlights on, near Chesapeake Boulevard and Cromwell Road. When officers attempted to stop him, the vehicle turned onto Robin Hood Road and struck a power pole, a car and then a porch in the 3800 block of Robin Hood Road. The boy attempted to flee on foot, but was caught a short time later. Police say there were no reports of injuries, but around 18 people lost power in the area.
