A 25-year-old man has been upgraded to fair condition after crashing his pickup truck into an SUV Saturday afternoon. According to police, Teri Hills was eastbound on Lake Michigan Drive when he failed to stop at a light at the intersection of Eighth Avenue, crossed the center line and collided with an SUV that was stopped at the light. SUV driver Marvin Ramos, 34, of Grand Rapids and his four passengers were taken to the hospital, but have since been released. Hills, 25, of Comstock Township was initially hospitalized in serious condition. He was upgraded to condition Sunday.
