A 26-year-old woman died in a crash on Interstate 90 just before 7 a.m. Wednesday when she fell asleep while driving and her vehicle rolled over. Giselle Naughton, of Seattle, was traveling east about 24 miles west of Ritzville with her boyfriend and three-year-old daughter when she exited the roadway after falling asleep. She was pronounced deceased at the site.

The crash happened at about 2:40 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 90 at Sunset Way. A Honda Civic left the roadway, struck the end of a guardrail and went into small ravine. The car then crashed into a tree and caught on fire. When crews arrived to the scene, the driver was found walking near the scene and the passenger was found near the vehicle.Authorities said drugs or alcohol was factor in the crash.
