Pickerington Police say a 12-year-old boy and his friend took a car on a joy ride. They ended up smashing it into a house. Police say the two boys were driving a car reported stolen out of Newark. Authorities attempted to pull them over after a witness spotted them. The kids crashed into a mailbox and stop sign before crashing into a house on Rambling Brook Drive. The child driver was taken to a Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.
