A truck driver was cited after a Monday accident on Oregon 126 west of Prineville. The crash occurred around 1:51 p.m. when an eastbound Kenworth truck pulling a semi-trailer loaded with mint roots rolled over while negotiating a right downhill curve. As a result of the crash about 50 gallons of diesel spilled onto the highway. The driver, J. Monroe DeHaven, 34, of Sandy sustained a minor injury. He was cited on Tuesday for failure to drive within a lane. The highway was closed with one lane of travel available for more than four hours.
