A driver was seriously injured and his passenger was killed after a car slammed into a home in Revere Friday morning.
The Subaru was heading north on North Shore Road around 7 a.m. when it jumped a sidewalk and hit the corner of a home.
The two people in the car were rushed to hospitals with very serious injuries.
The spokesman for Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, the driver is “currently in critical condition, believed to be 19 and the deceased passenger believed to be 20.”
No names have been released.
Police say a 52-year-old Revere woman has died after being struck and dragged about a half-mile by an MBTA bus.
A spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney’s office says Gayle Johnson was struck around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Broadway and dragged six blocks.
The vehicle that struck her then left the scene.
Investigators determined that she had been struck by a bus and interviewed the 56-year-old male driver. He showed no signs of impairment, but has been subjected to drug and alcohol testing by the MBTA, per agency policy.
