Tuesday, May 12, 2015A chain-reaction crash occured on southbound Highway 101 in south Santa Rosa Thursday morning.the four-vehicle collision happened near the Hearn Avenue onramp around 8:30 a.m. An unidentified caller said he helped someone get out of one of the crashed vehicles. A pickup truck allegedly crashed into several other vehicles that morning. On request one person taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Thursday, December 26, 2013A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Santa Rosa Friday evening after allegedly causing a five-car crash that left three people injured, police said Saturday.
Police said the collision occurred around 5:15 p.m., when a Toyota Tacoma speeding down Hoen Avenue toward Yulupa Avenue rear-ended a car stopped at a red light.
The force of the crash caused three more cars stopped at the light to collide, causing major damage to each of the cars and leaving three drivers with minor injuries, police said.
One of the drivers was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.
