A 17-year-old boy was skiing at the Mission Ridge ski area when he lost control and veered off of the ski run. This sent him down an embankment and into a few trees, where he lay until ski patrol took him to the first aid station, before sending him to Central Washington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. We will add the identification of victims as more information is released.
